KEVIN L.WILLIAMS was born in west greenbrier west Virginia but grew up in various parts of Kentucky and Ohio i was raised mostly by my mother. She taught me the love of music in church where i learned to play panio as a child the first songs i sang were gospel songs. Most of my family is musical in some way. Therefore,i grew up surrounded by instruments and song. In my teen years, i taught myself to play guitar. At age 17,i began playing in a three-piece band known as first harvest. In 1984,we won second place in caesars creek, battle of the bands contest of thirty- four bands. This is when i seriously considered music as a career. After highschool i moved to new Mexico and went out on the road touring most of the western United States with a band called route'66'. i later moved back to dayton Ohio. I was a long time member of the U\.S\.a. band and eldorado. Over the course of several years, both of these bands became well known locally. We succeeded in winning the regional battle of the bands hosted by k99.1 fm in dayton Ohio, opening a country concert entitled a day in the country we open for toby keith,McBride&the ride,eddie rabbit. Shelly west just to name a few. I live in waynesville,Ohio with my wife and two childern. I'm still a member of the U\.S\.a.band.
