This live album is a true and valid picture of the Kid Thomas band of 1957, with all of it's fire and energy. The band features trombonist Louis Nelson, alto saxophonist Edmund Washington, pianist Joe James, string bassist Burke Stevenson, and drummer Sammy Penn. Some unexpected numbers include "Feudin' Fussin' & Fightin'," "Love Letters in the Sand" and "Twelfth Street Rag".
