Man You Should Explode [Import]
Much anticipated 3rd album, first major release for 2 years the album was recorded at Poon's head studio, a beautiful old analogue gear-decked house turned studio on the fringes of Fremantle, western Australia. the band worked closely with a producer for the first time, having the pleasure to work with Sydney-based burke Reid (who has more recently produced albums for the mess hall, jack ladder, the drones and the tucker b's) on all stages of production. The new, more electrified 5-piece line-up of the band spent the best part of January crafting the 10 tracks for the new record, all onto a Studer 2-inch 16-track tape machine. the resulting, almost wholly live sound is, by turns, warm, visceral and fierce. so are the songs.
