Little Black Raincloud
The Killbabies begin writing their first album in October of 2005. The lineup at that point was that of a four piece consisting of Jackie O. (vocals/guitars), Brandon Vasta (bass), Sydney Suxx (beats) and Copelinn (Vocals, guitars, production). The band had one goal in-mind: to create a new sound in rock music that borrowed heavily from electronic and industrial influences. They produced the 'Little Black Rain Cloud' EP in just under a year and began shaping the sonic wall that would become the Killbabies live show. After only a brief time, and with the original lineup still intact, The Killbabies quickly became a favorite on sites like Myspace.com and throughout the Internet. Much to the shock and disappointment of those around them, The Killbabies disbanded in late 2006 due to personal differences. The path of the band appeared to be paved in gold, but fate is a very unreliable thing. This EP is the document of record for the band. From time to time, listen to it and think about what could've been. I do. --copelinn.
