Shortly after moving to Oregon, L Pro hooked up with his best friend and producer D-Wyze and started the group Grassrootz. With the release of their album Uncharted Regions, L Pro laced many with his lyrics over gritty beats produced by D-Wyze. He attended high school with Lifesavas DJ Rev. Shines and developed working relationships with emcees such as Cool Nutz, Lifesavas, Destro and others. As L Pro worked to finish the Uncharted Regions record he was shot and had to deal with the residual effects of almost losing his life. After releasing Uncharted Regions, L Pro did not completely recover fromt he tragedy he faced in the past years. He was married and stopped rhyming all together. This change in his life led to an ultimate break up of the relationship between long time friend and producer D-Wyze. A traumatic situation led to an eventual divorce and led L Pro back to the studio with emcee Soul P. L Pro started working with Soul P in the studio and eventually met with with producer Arkitek and produced their first track together titled 'Back to One'. It was at that time that L Pro decided to Chronicle the last five years of his life into an album and release it as a re-introduction of L Pro to the world. L Pro patched up some of his relationships notably with D-Wyze and completed that Chronicles project. With a renewed spirit, L Pro presents 'Chronicles'.
