'Danglin'' is the 6th CD in the 'lalo' series. A buncha great music created by the front man-singer-guitar player-songwriter for the Northwest legend band, Jr. Cadillac. Ned Neltner in his guise as lalo topolobampo has come up with a gem this time! Lalo says, 'Often when people are browsing all the cds they'll ask, 'which one has the most blues?''. Here's the CD that definitivley answers that question. ' I have been making music like this for a very long time. This group of tunes reflects most of the versions of the blues and r&b that I have listened to, played and written about over these many years.' Don't think this is some down in the dumps blues, 'cause it ain't. 'Danglin'' is certainly a party record. Put it on, turn it up and watch the party go to the next level... 'I get the chance here to dedicate the music to my dear departed friend, Rich Dangel who was the guitar player for the Fabulous Wailers out of Tacoma. He influenced a couple generations of guitar players in the Northwest. I wrote the title tune, 'Danglin'' in about 1972 and the CD leads off with a demo of the song I made at home way back then.' 'Also this introduces my musical partner in Mexico, Hugo Becerra, to the lalo fans. Hugo is a fine and fearless young guitar player from Guadalajara (yes, they have a blues scene!!).' Hugo also engineered the CD which was recorded right in lalo's house in Mexico, Casa de los Suenos. If you already have some of lalo's music, this is a natural fit for you. A new fan will find much to enjoy here, as well. This is rockin', dancin', listening blues and r&b to savor for many, many listenings. But, as in all lalo's recordings, it is a little....bent.
