LD Maxi Single
Throughout the 90's, hip-hop played an enormous part in the music industry. Now that the millennium is here, hip-hop unquestionably continues to reign the pop charts. Latin Domain has taken hip-hop to a higher level by incorporating Spanish into their music in songs such as 'Every Time' and 'Chiquitita' from their upcoming maxi-single entitled 'LD'. Spanish can also be found in the songs 'Cuando Yo Te Conoci' and 'True Heartbreaker' from their previously released CD entitled 'Dark Ages'. Their diversity in music can also be found in songs such as 'It Ain't My Fault,' 'The Bad and The Ugly,' and 'F**k Around and Start a Riot.' Latin Domain has written all of their lyrics and produced all of their music, which generates an original style and will make a positive impact on the music industry. Latin Domain's raw talent, versatility, and performing ability have enabled them to pursue their musical dreams. Artists that have influenced them include Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Carlos Santana (Hispanic heritage), Cypress Hill, Wy Clef, The Neptunes, Timbaland (hip-hop), and Enigma (instrumental). This combination of musicians is also a part of what has shaped Latin Domain's artistic vision. As a result, their songs consist of effective hooks, comprehensible verses, and complimentary instrumentals. This makes for a product that will quickly gain international fame. It all began in September of 1992 when two young men, Uni and Kooba, from Newburgh, New York found a connection, a kindred spirit in music, and a medium to express their artistic interpretation of their world. Latin Domain had begun. Initially their musical ability was somewhat limited. However, they made up for it with passionate performances that engaged their audience with a unique mix of hip-hop, Spanish, and instrumental sounds. It wasn't long before Latin Domain released their first album self entitled 'Latin Domain', in 1996 In 1998, Latin Domain met their future manager, Russell Conley. Russell began working with Latin Domain immediately after he saw the potential that the group had. Before long, Latin Domain had an entire press package put together to shop to the major labels. While continually shopping Latin Domain to the majors, Russell decided to help Latin Domain launch their second album to help their cause. In 2000, Latin Domain began work on their second album, which would prove to be a very diversified CD displaying the multiple talents that Latin Domain was born with. For several months, Latin Domain worked diligently in the studio preparing their next CD entitled, 'Dark Ages.' The CD was completed in early 2001 and is currently for sale to the general public via CD Baby, their website and at many local stores. This album proved to be both powerful and personal with hard-hitting beats and lyrics straight from the soul. Shortly after the release of 'Dark Ages,' Uni and Kooba teamed up with the latest members of Latin Domain (Kain and Pete V) to immediately start work on their next project, a maxi-single entitled, 'LD.' Kain, a devoted friend who has been with Latin Domain from the beginning now contributes his writing and vocal abilities on the new album. Pete V, a singer and guitar player for fifteen years, adds a fantastic R&B flavor to the new material. This team of four young men is that of a talented one. 'LD' is to be the product of unsurpassed dedication to their music, determination, and hard work. With this album, Latin Domain intends to get the attention that they deserve and have worked so hard for. Latin Domain has started out strong and continues to enjoy the adoration of a growing fan base. 'Latin Domain is on the prowl.'
