Working on a Dream
Lawrence Langston is a truly talented, charismatic and powerful acoustic blues singer and songwriter who genuinely connects with his audiences while performing. Lawrence has been affectionately described as a cross between Greg Allman and Elvis Presley. Lawrence likes to refer to his music as \'Southern/Blues Music, the way it was Intended\'. Lawrence is originally from South Carolina, but now makes his home in Georgia. He relocated to Georgia in 1998 and graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music. During his education Lawrence was introduced to other, more intricate styles of music. This only grew and intensified his love for \'Southern/Blues Music, the way it was Intended\'. Lawrence is also a very established electric guitar player. He has played with regional legends such as \'Drink Small\',\'FatBack\',\'Eddie Griffin\',and \'Johnny Knox\'. Lawrence\'s love however is acoustic blues, or as he puts it \'Southern/Blues Music, the way it was intended\'. Lawrence has just completed his first full-length CD entitled \'Working on a Dream\'.Lawrence recorded and wrote all the songs on the CD. The songs will definitely make you feel as if your on a front porch in rural Georgia having a great time with family and friends!
