Layne Loxley's Regenerator has it's roots in the Prog-metal band Sacred Society (formerly Legacy) based in Dayton, OH. Multi-instrumetalist Layne Loxley was anticipating recording a new CD with Sacred Society (featuring guitarist Darin Moore) when he had joined that band in Feb. 2005. When recording was put on indefinite hold, Layne decided to record album of melodic, adventurous rock which would undoubtedly show his influences, especially 70's British progressive-rock. This project was dubbed Layne Loxley's Regenerator and was formed in August of 2005. Darin Moore has mainly been categorized as a metal shred player, but has shown he is a multi-talented and melodic player who seemed equally at ease on electric or acoustic guitar. Layne was a triple threat of vocalist, keyboardist and drummer. Various bass players played on the debut 'LLR' EP. Now, bass player Michael Neal has solified the group for future recordings. The 'LLR' EP features the epic 'Falling Into The Night' which was included on the 2006 ProgPower VII sampler disk.
