At a time when people are starving for music with substance, Leandra's newly released Debut CD, 'Little Things' delivers an original, invitingly smooth, R&B Soul sound that can stand up to anything in today's Top 10 R&B Charts. The St. Louis native has wrapped her melodic voice around hot topics and timeless tracks to create a collection of songs that deal with a range of emotions. Her ability to give her listeners chills can be heard and felt when she performs live. Leandra is a real singer with tremendous talent. She is a writer, arranger, and a voice coach who does not take her gift of singing lightly. Weather she is singing to an audience of 2 or 20,000, she believes it is important to reach others and loves to be able to uplift people through song. Leandra wrote or co-wrote all but one of the songs on the album, most along with her hubby and record label executive Raynard 'Trick' Haynes of Gutta Music Network. The couple decided to put their talents together after the a single which featured Leandra's vocals entitled 'Things You Do,' reached the Top 40 Billboard Charts for Radio and Airplay. While in college on a music scholarship at Harris-Stowe State University, she traveled and performed internationally and was often a featured soloist in the award winning Concert Chorale under the direction of Dr. Doris Jones Wilson. She was lead singer and voice coach for Team -11, a promotional group for KPLR Channel 11. She also worked with local rappers, producers, and artists such as Country Singer Rissi Palmer, Capitol Records Rapper Ebony Eyez, and Alonzo 'Zo' Lee of the Track Starz. One single entitled 'Yeah' which featured Leandra was placed on the Big Screen in the movie 'Strange Wilderness.' The movie was released in 2008 while she and hubby where putting the finishing touches on her debut CD, 'Little Things.'
