Left Right Looking Around
Legubitron was a band that defied genre-placing bios like the one you are currently reading. Many failed bios have been written for this band, and their music can be best described as a culmination of 4 overly creative songwriters and singers bent on writing songs that would Roger their own Hammersteins. Although that may sound a bit cynical, the resulting songs show a tight within a loose context rhythm section, words that might just blow your mind, and ripping meticulous valve-state lead guitar parts. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, believe me, after listening to their debut full length (Left, Right, Looking Around), you might still be confused, but delighted at the same time. This slacker-prog quartet successfully rocked the Davis music scene for many of their respective college careers, and fostered many die-hard fans. Members of the band are still playing music today, but have yet to re-claim the Legubitron chemistry that was a combination of simple jam-style songs, but with the quirks and lyrical twists and turns you might expect to find from a different era.
