Product Notes

Light It Up is a gripping story about six misunderstood inner-city students trying to cope where there's little hope. In his dazzling leading-role debut Usher Raymond (People's Choice Award Winner for Favorite R&B Artist) plays Lester the troubled teen who has finally been pushed to his limit. Taking matters into their own hands Lester and his friends hold a police officer hostage played by Oscar Golden Globe and Emmy Award Winner Forest Whitaker and barricade themselves inside the school. Negotiator Audrey McDonald (Vanessa Williams of "Desperate Housewives" and "Ugly Betty") struggles to maintain peace while tensions simmer inside. Also starring Rosario Dawson.
