Little Sara's Orchestra
As a diverse collaboration of musicians, Little Sara's Orchestra has a unique experimental spirit. With each member having different musical backgrounds, such as rock, jazz, electronica, pop, funk/fusion, and world, they create a densely layered sound using guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals, and drums. Their eclectic sound features complex grooves, wall of sound ambiance, climatic peaks of energetic build-ups, and sophisticated melodic ideas. Driven by a passion for creating something new and innovative, LSO's live shows will take the listeners, along with themselves, for an intense experience. Little Sara's Orchestra started as a jam session between five talented local musicians in middle Tennessee. The chemistry encouraged them to take the session to a live audience. After working up original material, the band would eventually share the stage with The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Natty Love Joys, The Radiators, and The Cluster Pluckers, along with making numerous local television and radio appearances. The band has recently finished their first full-length studio album. The new self-titled album was two years in the making. Produced and recorded by the band themselves, the album captures the diverse collage of styles and high-energy performances. LSO will be promoting their new album by extensively playing live and building their fan base throughout the rest of the year.
