The Truth About Me, Is a mix of ambient folk, blues and alternative music. Liz Zorn layers in ambient sounding acoustic guitars with up front vocals, and a first person, storytelling style of writing. Produced by Zorn, this album is full of emotion and raw energy. About Liz Liz Zorn is a singer, songwriter artist and published poet. She lives in the small village of Morrow Ohio with her husband and their unique family of animal companions. For many years Liz was known by most as a mixed media artist. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, art centers and universities, in the US and Europe, and is in many private collections around the country.Her bio is listed in both Who's Who In America and Who's Who of American Women. In late 2001 Liz made the decision to hang up her paint brush for awhile to focus full attention on her music; something that she had not given serious attention to for more than twenty years. Liz has since started her own independent label, Doo Bug Records, and released her first album 'The Truth About Me'' which has received positive review, and is currently being played on radio stations both in the US and around the world, as well as garnering generous support from the internet radio community. An advocate of grass roots music, Liz is active in several regional music organizations, and is an avid supporter of community based independent and americana music.
