Lost Nomad consists currently of just me, Diego Guzman, Spanish songwriter musician based in Manchester, UK. Born and raised by Spanish parents in multicultural Luxembourg, I developed a great ear for music from an early age -I was highly influenced by 80's pop music- and also learnt to speak several languages. My musical direction changed toward the heavier genres when I discovered Guns N' Roses in the early 90's, a band that changed my life and prompted me to take up the bass guitar. While studying for my languages degree in Paris, I joined several bands, one of which was signed to small independent label, and gigged all over France. I eventually moved to Manchester to finish my degree and although I have played in some great bands here -mainly rock and alternative- it never felt 100% right due to incompatible band members and personality clashes. As a result, I went solo in 2006 and started working on my first album while improving my singing/guitar and songwriting skills in the process. No two Lost Nomad music sound the same style-wise yet manage to remain groovy and catchy without sounding overcomplicated. My debut album was recorded at home and is available on numerous online stores and receiving air play on numerous indie stations and podcasts; my immediate priority is to continue promoting the album through networking and live solo performances (see my MySpace blog for my current stage set up) and develop my fan base while I get a band together and expand my knowledge about the music business. I am also aiming to place songs in films, gaming, TV and write for other artists.
