We Have Come
The LP Music Project's "We Have Come" is a spirit-filled testimony of the love, mercy and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Executive producer Kenneth Bean and head writer Marcus Wilson prayerfully discerned the scriptures to produce biblically sound lyrics that ministers to even the most tortured soul. "We Have Come" opens with the foot tapping, soul-stirring declaration of the project's purpose to praise the name of Jesus. Great Things proclaims the marvelous works that God has bestowed upon his people. "He didn't have to do it" takes us back to the Cross; reverencing the ultimate expression of love. God's sovereignty is unparalleled. "He's King, Sovereign" honors God as the Supreme Being. "I Refused" to let the temptations of the world separate us from God's love. "I know" shouts the realization of God's promises in our daily living. "It's time" reminds us of the goodness of God's presence and praising Him for His existence. The beautiful ballad, "My prayer", is a heartfelt request for God's will to be in our lives. Paying homage to the saints of yesteryear, the beloved hymn "O To Be Kept" reminds the spirit how sweet it is to be kept by Jesus. The fast tempo, "Thank You," expresses our sincere appreciation for of God's wondrous miracles in our lives. "We Have Come" reiterates our calling to do the Lord's will. The LP Music Project's goal is to "bring new souls to Christ," says Brother Bean, "you're suppose to give your best in everything you do, so why not give it to the Entity that created everything in you." His writing partner, Brother Wilson echoes the same sentiment: "Whether I knew it or not, He was preparing me, my experiences, my lyrics, Brother Bean's music, our great choir, the leadership at LPMBC, the relationships with the guest soloists, and the various connections to get this project to the masses."
