Who is M.D.-E? He's a Stamford, Connecticut native that's all skills, no hype! Nuff said! For more than ten years, M.D.-E has graced the underground scene in his home state and abroad garnering his reputation with a group of M.C.'s known locally as "The Skavenjas". M.D.-E was first heard on the 'The Skavenjas' album "The Real Cut" which was released in 1999. He then landed a solo artist production deal in Los Angeles, California with the Grammy Award Winning team known as "The Matrix" in early 2001. After his brief stint in Los Angeles, M.D.-E relentlessly networked with other artist and producers who have the same hunger, talent and drive. He's currently putting the finishing touches on his much anticipated and long over due solo project "BootLeg Me" with produced by Rob Relish of "Verse Recordings", Poppa Pill of "Death Grip Productions" and Dolla Bill a.k.a "Bill Crates". This Album "BootLeg Me" has a wide variety of music that his audience can vibe to and his subject matter deals with social issues such as police brutality, in "Profiled". And songs like "Ms. Hip Hop" which is his expression for the true essence and love for Hip-Hop itself. He even branches out into the popular reggae scene, with a jump off featuring Zhibez a talented CT reggae artist on the song "Bad Mon". This is just a taste of M.D.-E's technical skill and originality. Exactly like a chameleon if you will. Now take heed and be on the look out for anything involving these three letters, M.D.-E Peace.
