Machines for Hire
After decades of cerebral germination, composer Lee Varkin throws a wrench in the rusty cogs to start the motion of a new set; the interpretation of experiences into something audible. The result is the first release of Machines for Hire. Using his fascination for sound, Lee manipulates synths, metallic objects, and other items to construct an instrumental soundtrack for mental states, memories, a bizarre dream, and personal outlooks - all accompanied by an underlying sense of a creeping dystopia. However, Lee's vision isn't intended to be perceived exactly like his. It's meant to be absorbed, allowing an individual's reactions to be explored in their own unique form. 'Whatever.' -Lee Varkin.
