Kraut Bastards of the Black Forest or It's Uncle F
Magic Zorillo formed in the winter of 2000 when Lawry Romani and Robert Pepper decided to create sound experiments. Pleased with their results, they decided to turn the project into a band. In need for a name, they each placed ten words in a hat. Lawry picked Magic and Pepper picked Zorillo, which means skunk in Spanish. Four years later they found their guitarist Eric Britto who perfectly complimented their electronic experiments. Magic Zorillo cover a wide variety of musical styles and genres making it difficult to classify, yet at the same time all of the songs are all organic and cohesive. Magic Zorillo is a strange animal, kind of like a chameleon cross bred with a duck billed platypus impersonating an Amoeba. During their live set, Magic Zorillo incorporate an arsenal of visuals including psychedelic lighting, video projections, fog machines and costumes, creating a sensory overload when seen in conjunction with their hypnotic eclectic music. Magic Zorillo has recorded six albums.
