Down the Sky Live
WHAT We are a progressive heavy metal band. We are lyrics that go beyond the clichés. We are unique. WHERE We are global, universal. From one place we span the world. WHEN We are now. We are the present and future. WHO We are Manifest. WHY Because music can always be better. HISTORY Formed in the year 2000, Manifest now has six members dedicated to playing our music to the world. We have played many concerts in a variety of venues including several regional outdoor music festivals, local clubs, and auditoriums. BIOS Robert Madsen is the keyboard player and master programmer for the twisted sounds in Manifest. Robert grew up in central California. He came to a love for music at 17. When he is not playing music, he is publishing web sites and teaching people how to get along with their computers. His love in life besides his family is most definitely rock music. Stephen Madsen is the fast hands and feet on the drums for the heaviness of Manifest. Stephen grew up in Bakersfield, CA. Stephen not only plays but also writes many of our songs and produces in his home studio. When he is not playing music he enjoys listening to it. When Stephen is breathing he is listening to music. His favorite bands and inspirations are Slipknot, Korn, P.O.D, System of a Down, and too many more. Jason Sheader has played guitar since five years old. He grew up traveling all over the world with his dad in the air force. Jason learned how to play classical guitar from his father and taught himself how to play metal through listening to his inspiration and favorite bands like Metallica, P.O.D, System of a down, Slipknot, Machine, Korn, and more. Jeff Sturm is originally a guitar player but for Manifest he plays the bass, which he enjoys just as much. He grew up in Alaska before moving to Colorado. Jeff is a laid back guy but born a rock star. Tony Didonato has been playing guitar for about 4 years. He brings a great new sound to Manifest. His biggest influences are Mushroomhead, Mudvayne, and Disturbed. Tony loves metal music but he listens to everything else (except country music). Jared Walsh just showed up at one concert, painted his face black, and went crazy on stage! Ever since then we decided to keep him. Now he plays percussion and still goes crazy on stage. YES HE IS A FREAK!
