Marvin Clark is an independent Gospel songwriter, singer, and musician. His melodic voice ushers up praise and worship which is comforting to the soul and soothing to the spirit. His original music is designed to keep you in the presence of God. Easy listening songs with a smooth variety of tempos and rhythms give honor unto the Lord Jesus Christ. All of his solo albums showcase his personal style and preference for Praise and Worship music. Marvin Clark has produced three solo albums, We're Going Home Soon, My Soul Says Yes, and Have Your Way In Me (2005). For years, his love of music has inspired several hundred Gospel songs that cater to a variety of vocal registers and styles. Soloists and church choirs popularly request and use his songs for new material to sing. He has written jingles for television, political ad campaign spots, and songs for The City of Refuge's Church television broadcast. He is the male announcer's voice for 'A Word in Season' on Christian cable television. In the past he has opened for Edwin and Walter Hawkins, Allison Kyle, and Morris Chapman. For three years, he was the Praise and Worship Leader for Jimmy Swaggart at Family Worship Center Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While in that position, his live singing was aired around the nation on radio and around the world via the Internet. Marvin Clark is an ordained minister who works in the ministry of helps at the City of Refuge Church in White Castle, LA. He is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is married with three sons.
