Things I See
Since it's inception Mean Molly's Trio has come out swinging, shaking the Ogden music scene to it's core and demanding an open ear and a mobbing dance floor wherever they go. Serving up a precocious blend of hometown swagger with a stupid amount of sincerity, they're sure to get you on your feet! While Mark Young (bass) and Clint Stanger (drums) set the stage with a straight up impressive sense of rhythm (and lavish good looks) Timm Gehrett (guitar, vocals) sets in with a rasping thunder and conviction in his voice like you've not heard before. Then without hesitation he sticks it to the crowd with a one handed solo, hangs his fedora on the microphone, and proceeds to blister any and all expectations to a crisp! Salt Lake's own SLUG Magazine raves, 'MMT's sound is something sort of like rockabilly, blues, garage rock and surf rock, blended together. Give the CD a listen and you'll know why my eardrums are screaming from the pain of Things I See.' City Weekly Magazine boasts, 'vocalist Timm Gehrett's voice gets the party raging, sounding as if ravaged by years of hard liquor and sword swallowing, his delivery is fit for Anytown USA's shadiest biker-bar.'
