Last Living Argonaut
It started when I was really young, copying the greats like Elvis and Andy Williams--also singing from major musicals. Then, C&W came along. I spent a lot of time singing Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, and others. But it all radically changed the first time I heard 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' on AM. The British Invasion conquered me, and I haven't looked back. If it's British and comes from the '60s or '70s, I probably do it. [I still perform classics and some C&W--love all kinds of music.] When you listen to my original music, you'll hear a definite influence from the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and others. The music ranges from rock to ballads, from manic to mellow. I hope you'll enjoy it. All the best, Mel.
