I live in Whittier, Ca with my wife Alison. We have three children and a daughter-in-law. When I'm not playing music I am a General Contractor. I have enjoyed music since I was old enough to listen to my transistor radio while falling asleep. I was drawn to the harmonies and simple melodies of the early 60's, then to the haunting ethereal sounds of the Moody Blues. I was the lead singer of a garage band where we did our best to imitate the Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and the Beatles. After connecting with the songs of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zepplin, I stepped away from following the music scene. When I was in college I picked up a guitar and within a few months wrote my first song. I was touched by the melodies and lyrics of artists like John Denver, Jim Croce, and James Taylor. I suppose my style would be a mix of all my musical roots. My outlook on music changed, however, when I met the Savior, Jesus Christ. The songs that I was so fond of held little meaning or depth. Since that time most of my songs are directed towards Him and in, hopefully, inspiring others to follow and worship Him. It is sometimes fun to hear some of the old songs but there is nothing like music that draws you into the presence of the living God. ....and with my song I give You thanks. Psalm 28:7.
