Sails to Sea
Back when Michelle Corrine was just a little tike, her family used to stand her up on the fireplace mantel and ask her to sing the song from the Little Mermaid. That was the beginning of her singing career. Now she writes her own songs, plays the guitar and a bit of keys, mostly, she says, as a creative release. The songs on Sails to Sea came into being the summer of 2006, when she found herself new and alone in a little town called Portland, OR. As it happens, Portland loves musicians and she made plenty of friends, many of whom like her music. Now, she's trying to start a duo with another guitar player, while working three jobs and playing her songs around town.
