New Tycoons: Report from Brooklyn
Mictlan (MEE-klahn),from the meso-American language nahuatl, describes the pivotal place between life and death, a netherworld of struggle to reach a final resting place. The moment of both cessation and creation. Formed in the summer of 1998, Mictlan comes from the rio grande valley of west Texas and southern new Mexico. Currently based in brooklyn, NY, their organic rock sound is expressive in dynamics and meter with evolving themes and movements.
