Doncha Miss Me
Born in 1970 in suburbia singer/songwriter Mike found inspiration to play from his music loving family of pianists, folk and country guitarists and accordion players. As a teen Mike was struck by the punk movement and by classic rock and pop. His first band, the Cracked Radishes, created original songs with a sound like Suicidal Tendencies meets George Thorogood. His second band Shikon Sanguige also created original songs with influences of Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Pink Floyd. Other musical influences include: Sublime, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Stray Cats, Tony Franklin, George Thorogood, Steve Miller, Bob Marley, Cake, John Lee Hooker, Men at Work. Mike plays all the instruments and sings his original compositions produced in his digital studio on the island of Oahu, Hawaii where he resides. In 2005 he began writing, recording, and producing on a full time basis working in a variety of song styles like symphonic, techno- electronica, country, punk and alternative rock.
