A dark and disturbing drama, Missing Person is another slice of quality Korean independent cinema that takes a very bleak look at the worst abuses and excesses of social hierarchy and assumed positions of authority. The film is set in a small Korean town where Won Yeong, a greedy and abusive estate agent, vents his frustrations on the unfortunate Gyu Nam, a strange outcast who earns a pittance by snatching and putting up posters of missing dogs. As Won's brutality begins to take it's toll, Gyu Nam starts to lash out in his own way by killing the dogs he seizes. Everything changes when townsfolk start disappearing too and Won Yeong begins to suspect Gyu Nam has something to do with it... and it is only a matter of time before Gyu Nam snaps and bites the hand that feeds.
