BASIC STRESS REDUCTION CD / MP3: Features two extensive tracks... Guided Body-Scan/Relaxation - The Body Scan facilitates a deep state of body and mind relaxation (20 minutes). Guided Lovingkindness Technique - This CD track teaches a way of cultivating positive thoughts and feelings (15 minutes). This CD should also be of interest to Non-Meditators. About Dr. Weiss: Dr. Myra Weiss, a doctoral-level clinical social worker, has practiced psychotherapy and meditation for over 30 years. She has completed the Professional Training for Healthcare Professionals and the Teaching Development Intensive, taught by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Saki Santorelli & senior faculty from UMass Center for Mindfulness-Stress Reduction. Dr. Weiss is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD), has reached the highest rank in teaching family therapy (Approved Supervisor, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists - AAMFT) and is a Member of the American Family Therapy Association (AFTA).
