Live at 5th Ave-Music for Old People
Natives of the New Dawn's live album release, Music for Old People is finally upon us. Now approaching 2 years since the New Dawn first started turning heads with their highly energetic, and uniquely original live performances the Natives have decided to release what the people have been asking for all along; an album that brings their show stopping live experience into your cars and home stereos. Featuring a wide range of New Dawn material, Music for Old People is an all encompassing, up-to-date release containing a number of oldies but goodies off of their first (2004) studio release, The Sunshine Chronicles, a handful of live cult classics, as well as a preview of previously unreleased tracks that will be featured on their forthcoming studio project, Need Something, due for release in Spring of 2006. Recorded live at Fifth Avenue Billiards in the heart of downtown Detroit. Music for Old People is an album dedicated to it's local, and faithful fan base surrounding the greater Detroit area. Cut down from 3 expansive sets of music, the Natives picked a handful of tracks that they thought helped define the spirit, energy, and dynamic of the New Dawn's live experience. Featuring extended jams, teased covers, as well as a number of crowd favorites and new joints, Music for Old People is sure to have a little bit of something for everyone.
