Bonus DVD Rockumentary Included
Enter the sounds of "The Next,"who hail from the farmlands of Southern California's Inland Empire. Who would have ever thought that such powerful rock music could come from a city like "Chino, California?" Actually guitarist and lead vocalist Darin Ferreira is in fact a dairy farmer by day, tending to his herd of over 1100 milking cows on his 52 acre farm, but at night, he becomes a rockstar in his own mind!!! Kenny Mac, lead guitarist and backup vocalist has been playing music with Darin since they were in the 4th grade at a catholic private school. They would part ways in their mid-teens, but managed to get the musical chemistry back together in the summer of 2003 when they formed "The Next." Soon they were opening for acts such as The Motels, Kevin Martin and the Hiwatts (formerly Candlebox) and even The Bacon Brothers (Kevin Bacon). In 2005, The Next won the Inland Empire Music Awards "Best Classic Rock Band" award and was runner up for "Best Live Band." The Next plan to continue playing their layered, heavily effected guitar sounds, and big harmony vocals, to packed houses all across southern California. This album contains a CD and also a bonus DVD which is an 11 minute Rockumentary about how The Next was formed, how songs were written, and also spectacular concert footage.
