It ranges from Halvorsen's folk-flecked Norwegian Dance to Stenhammar's passionate Sentimental Romances. The earlier works of Ole Bull illustrate the brilliance and panache of 'The Nordic Paganini'. Henning Kraggerud is a recipient of Norway's prestigious Grieg Prize, the Ole Bull Prize and the Sibelius Prize. He is a professor at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, and appears as a soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras.
