Norine Braun Releases First-Ever Acoustic Album Norine Braun has announced she is to release her first ever full-length acoustic album, Acoustically Inclined. The new release gently cuts across genres and styles, tied together by powerful songwriting and the sheer beauty of timeless melodies. Norine, once again solidifies her ability to transition easily over to the acoustic world and transform into a roots blues oriented folkster. While the softer side has been explored before on Crow and two of that album's songs are performed again on Acoustically Inclined, listeners also are given a chance to hear some of the produced songs given a completely different life. Norine Braun appears as comfortable in an unplugged setting as with a roomful of amps and synthesizers. The recipient of awards including the prestigious 'Female Singer-Songwriter of the Year' in the Jazz Category at the Independent L.A. Music Awards (2006), Braun, even as a newcomer, has dazzled her critics as "a rare find," according to The Best Female Musicians Magazine. Ink19 Magazine, meanwhile, has observed that while "people throw the word eclectic around a lot these days...pop vocalist Norine Braun...earns that label." While critical praise continues to roll in, looking to the future, what Braun feels most excited and energized by her new album, with the singer revealing that "Acoustically Inclined is my current recording project and 7th album released. This album is acoustic and naked, showcasing my live solo singer-songwriter performances. My intention is to capture the essence of the song in it's purest form, vocal and guitar which is my usual modus operandi when writing and performing.
