Rik Palieri - Folk troubadour who has performed on stage with Pete Seeger, Rambling Jack Elliot, Bruce Springsteen, Utah Phillips and Jimmy Driftwood. Rik is a multi-talented singer, storyteller and songwriter. He plays various instruments, such as banjo, 12-string guitar and very exotic ones, such as the Polish bagpipe and an Ozark mouth bow. With his music, he crossed America several times, played in more than 1,000 schools and performed at numerous festivals from New York to Alaska. Appearances in TV shows and his show 'Song Writers Notebook' in the Public Access TV network complete the picture. His newest album is called 'Hobos and Heros'. WILFRIED MENGS - Lyricist who chose in 1994 to convert his poetry into songs and to introduce them to the public. His songs show energetic arrangements of elation and musical craft. Without being too cutting, his lyrics are sarcastic and thought provoking at the same time. The beautiful melodies of his songs seem to magically embrace the lyrics. Wilfried is the composer of several musicals for children including 'Sieben auf einem Streich' (Seven at once) and 'Poverello'. His newest CD 'Ballonfahrt' ('Balloon Adventure') is a musical tour of the world for both kids and grown-ups. The CD has been rewarded 'Best Children CD of the Year' in 2002 by the German Folk-Magazine. Wilfried owns Laurarecords - a record label in Germany and is also co-organizer and artist of the DAFT-Tour.
