Now & Again
This is the 8th album release from Jesscott Music Group artist Paul Gibbs, and is a celebration of the wonderful gift of music that God has given us. The title, \'Now And Again\', refers to the fact that this project includes several songs from Paul\'s first 2 albums from the mid-90\'s brought back \'again\', along with some new ones, written \'now\'. Paul is joined on a couple of songs by \'Kenny T\' Fuller, from the Glens Falls, NY area, who provided his awesome talents on guitar and vocals. As with his previous albums, Paul\'s daughter Jessica provided some vocals, with select members of the choir of the Hudson Falls, NY United Methodist Church joining Paul on his lively arrangement of \'Amazing Grace\'. Paul also included a special arrangement of \'As Long As I Have Music\' as a memorial tribute to former voice teacher and friend Judy Lundgren, of Salem, NY. The song is sung on the CD by several of Judy\'s former voice students. \'You\'re Never Alone\', was written by Paul for his children Jessica and Scott, as a message to them (and to us all) that wherever we go, Jesus is right there by our side! Mac Davis fans will recognize \'I Believe In Music\', while \'Through Prayer\' was written and recorded originally by The Needhams. Steve Morse wrote and joined Paul on \'I Found A Friend\'. Paul\'s friend Steve Morse, of Granville, NY, wrote and added vocals to \'I Found A Friend\'. Several songs have drum parts recorded by Paul\'s friend of over 30 years, Dana Roy, of Hudson Falls, NY. Dana and Paul met in the mid-70\'s, and played in several secular bands in the Glens Falls, NY area together over the years. Dana had not played the drums in nearly 10 years, due to his declining health and other factors, however God brought healing to Dana in many ways, and in His perfect timing worked through Paul to give Dana the chance to play again. Dana says, \'getting behind the drums made me feel alive again\'. For more info on this and Paul\'s previous albums, visit his website.
