Peggy Skomal As a southern California native, Peggy began her musical studies in her hometown of Redlands. After learning piano, she studied with Marjorie Call at the University of Redlands and began performing professionally at the age of 13. Peggy was a Redlands Bowl Young Artist Award winner, performed with the Redlands, San Bernardino, and Riverside symphonies, and received scholarship and talent awards in the Miss Teenage America, California's Junior Miss, and the Miss California pageants. Since graduating from UCLA with a degree in Theater Arts, Peggy has appeared in numerous TV, film, and stage productions as both a harpist and actress. Her long-running harp engagements have included The Music Center Pavilion Restaurant, The Queen Mary Hotel, The Beverly Hills Hotel, and currently the Peninsula Beverly Hills. She continues to perform in concerts and engagements as a solo artist and with other musicians, most recently with Ken Christianson, Susan Craig Winsberg, and David Arkenstone.
