RYSQUE was born in Dallas, Texas. She was brought up in a family of entertainers that motivated her to participate in drama, dance, literary, musical and social events. From age 3, she appeared in local radio/TV commercials for various companies in Texas. RYSQUE wrote all of her life's experiences in her journal. Through diligent work, she was given a scholarship to college. She received her BBA, w/a minor in drama. While developing her skills in the music/film industry, RYSQUE worked with many people, including Rap-a-lot/Sing-a-lot Records, Short Stop Records, to name a couple. RYSQUE appeared in several movies, including but not limited to, Riverbend, The Riff & others; started her own production company, KODA (Keepa of da Archives) Productions; worked with platinum producers, as well as wrote and produced songs. In an effort to extend/solidify her skills, she returned to college for a master's degree in Bus. Mgmt. Thereafter, RYSQUE started her own independent record label, Archive Records LLC. This launched a relationship with many artists and producers in the entertainment industry. One such relationship was Lil' Troy of Short Stop Records. Due to perfect timing of the development of Lil' Troy's film division, RYSQUE had creative input in two Short Stop's film productions, and landed a role in his film, 'Wanna Be A Baller'. She also appeared on legendary blues trumpeter, Calvin Owens, project titled, 'Stop Lying In My Face,' in which she received rave reviews for her performance. Some of her magazine credits included the cover of Houston's ASQuest Magazine, Black Tail & Vibe Magazine. She toured with Minnesota's own 'Swingstock Festival' (as seen on HBO's Real Sex #26); and performed in show openers for rap and R&B in Houston like CO-ED, Ghetto Twins, Doracel, Twista & others. When working on music, RYSQUE used her life experiences to accent her creativity. This is captured with her deep, 'down-to-earth,' innovative lyrics and infectious melodies. RYSQUE embarked on sharing those events with the public by developing and producing the CD/film project, PeeP Show (A Freak's Dream). The film showcases the talents of nationally-known poet, Ghetto Girl Blue (Punany Poets), 'Kitten' (Adult film star) along w/introductory cast members developed by RYSQUE. The soundtrack showcases the comedic talents of nationally-known comedian, Shuckey Duckey, vocal talents of singer Mysti Day and the musical talents of platinum producers Swift (Luke, H-Town) & Floyd Butch Bonner (Johnnie Taylor, Gerald Levert).
