Scarecrow Chasing Rabbits
Philip Treas spend years with rock bands, but admired the simplicity of performances by solo singer/songwriters. He moved to La Jolla, California to enjoy a life of sun and surf and began developing his own unique style of music. The songs are often textured with harmonies similar to the classic folk/rock of the 60\'s and 70\'s. However, there are no easy comparisons. This work breaks new ground. Subject matters range from \'serious\' (IN THE END and THE BOAT\'S SHAKING) to \'haunting\' (CAN YOU FEEL THE RAIN and SPAIN) to \'silly\' (LIFE IN THE TRAILER PARK and CHOLESTEROL). Grab the headphones and enjoy.
