Description
In 1995, ever the dutiful political wife, Bernadette Chirac (Catherine Deneuve) saw the payoff for standing by her conservative stalwart husband Jacques (Michel Vuillermoz) as he ascended to the French presidency. She'd wryly weather his personal peccadilloes and ultimate corruption-spurred undoing of his legacy as she found her own voice as a media figure.
