Quietstorm (Nate McNeil) begin his career in the hallways of Simon Gratz High School in North Philadelphia. Emceeing as a member of the Renaissance Union band. Eventually the group was spotted by Deadarm Management CEO, Joseph Steward III. The origin was manifested and Renaissance, the movement began. Renaissance union consisted of two emcee s. Quietstorm (Nate McNeil) and Showtime (Craig Thompson). Together they began a movement bringing a fresh sound to the Hip-hop industry. Their music portrayed serious content, however, what set them apart from the rest of the competition was their explosive stage shows. The name -Renaissance itself means the rebirth of a new beginning, in their lives as well as their music. Eventually they would hook up with music producer Gunnz of Track Gunnerz Entertainment. Gunnz brought the creative sounds to the table being one of the hottest producers to touch down. They were not your average Hip-hop group. In fact the word group is an understatement. Renaissance Union became a movement! The group brought change to the sound of Philadelphia. This would lead to Quietstorm (Nate McNeil) emergence as a solo artist. After working with a ton of artist in the Philadelphia area, Nate's innovative ear for sound cultivated an idea for crossing platforms. Closing the barriers of mainstream Hip-hop, and opening up the doors to a multicultural sound. Manifesting in to an international sound structure.
