Listeners may recognize a Bristol-sound influence in Quintero's music, yet they represent a fresh addition to the budding trip-hop/downtempo scene in Philly. The Forbidden World, Quintero's debut LP, was independently released in May. Quintero has played at the Rotunda and World Caf é Live, two prime venues in Philadelphia. The band has played at PhilaFunk and in Philly's Love Park as part of the Philadelphia Song Research concert series.
