Product Notes

Building for a decade this debut album combines my favorites with my son's. This is the endorphin raising music we personally keep coming back to, time after time /year after year, for it's rhythmic interest, lyrical highs and shear delight. If you utilize the 'shuffle' or 'Random Play' on your player you will enjoy this diverse collection. If you came to this page looking for: MELLOW ROCK, are you in luck, try tracks 1-3, 5, 10, 12-14. ORCHESTRAL try 8) Warriors Song, 15) Before and Aftermath. NEW AGE try 6)Prayers of Petroglyphs, 9)Cooking Show Theme. JAZZ try 3) Walking Uptown, 6) Petroglyphs, 10) Fuzzy Funk. POPULAR SONG try 7) Recede/Reseed Biographies: Ken Pribbeno (PRIB ba no.) I have been a player for longer than I'll admit. The advent of keyboards (so many instruments, so little time) got me back to playing regularly which brought new techniques and a widening horizon. Always a two fisted player, in my earlier days it was true that I jogged for peace-of-mind and played for exercise. Dane Pribbeno (younger son.) I'm a multi-instrument student (trumpet in marching band, orchestra & wind ensemble, piano and particularly any of four guitars.) I've spent all the free time I could scrape together practicing or jamming with Eric Patterson (track 12) or with 'Scallywag and the Funky Bunch,' winners of JamFest2004. Now a music major at CU Boulder, I've lent four of my mellow rock tunes (mostly fingered guitar stylings) for this album. Artist Notes and Credits : 1) Two Guitars and Too Too Many Drums....Ken 2) Soul Tuner ............Dane 3) Walking Uptown......Ken 4) Fur Effect (Fur Elise by L.Beethoven) w/added haunting echo....Ken 5) Peace Frog..............Dane 6) Prayers of the Petroglyphs, try this one with headphones for a mind massaging experience........Ken 7) Recede/Reseed.....homonyms abound in this the only song on the album..........Ken 8) Warriors Song (by Stephen Heller, Op.45#15) This original arrangement might lift this stellar piano piece into the orchestral genre, crank the volume to be carried far, far away......... .....For Star-Fans throughout the galaxy..........Ken 9) Cooking Show Theme, yes my wife Laurie once contemplated such an endeavor...........Ken 10) Fuzzy Funk....Ken 11) Danse Americaine (by Dent Mowrey, a piano teacher in Portland, OR.) Some times found on piano rolls, this delightful theme-and-variations has slipped into the public domain, but it shouldn't slip into obscurity. I studied this piece in my youth while living in the Pacific Northwest. No doubt this came to me by way of the trusty piano teacher network.........Ken 12) Flowers to Feathers.....Dane on guitars and keyboard with Eric Patterson on drums. 13) Basement Boogaloo, the name is not what you think. It debuted in a basement church where Greg Bradt, the sound man, suggested the title and it stuck.......Ken 14) Next to Last Peace........(what can I say? :-).....Dane 15) Before & Aftermath. The drums of war march in lockstep to start, in chaos during and in sorrow to the end... .....Peacefully yours, in silence for the drums .......Ken.
