At the age eight his father booked the Williamson County Country Jamboree and he played drums to backup his father and sisters. He studied drums in school while learning the piano and formed a band with his cousins at the age of thirteen. Which performed at church socials and parties. Later bands performed at clubs, roller rinks, and parties. After recording at Mountain Studios in Nashville he became involved with such acts as The Johnny Rowland Band, TommyCash and the Tom Cat Band, Marshall Law, and many others.Recording in various studios in Memphis, Nashville, and Detroit, and having success with cuts being picked for Radio 106 compilation CD and a few others being published in Hawaii. His music with surprising depth, sometimes disarming, always engaging has touched the hearts of his many listeners. Original music that takes you to the place where sound and harmony blend to create music. Currently he and wife Lydia have released a new CD, HomeSpun, another to touch the heart of those who hear it.
