She will never forget the time when she was singing and the power of God fell. Pastor James Cleveland got up from his chair while she was singing and took his handkerchief and tosses it at her, signifying 'you sang girl'. Pastor James Cleveland saw the Lord working in Rochelle through her music and she was offered an opportunity to be on one of Rev. James Cleveland albums as a new artist; however she knew that it was not her time yet, God has much more to instill in Rochelle's heart and ministry. He had to turn her into the Rochelle we see and hear today. She was blessed later to spend a few years singing with the Voices of Watts Choir of Los Angeles California, and the First Lady of The Tree of Life Baptist Missionary Baptist Church. At the California State Baptist Convention she served as the Vice President of the Youth and Young Adult Music Department, under the leadership of the Late Dr. E.V. Hill. There she was able to assist the youth in how to spread the word of God through music. Rochelle brought to Denver a new level of praise and worship by singing the praises of the Lord and preaching about his love for all. She was the minister of music at the Whole Life Christian Fellowship. She was also a member of the Colorado Community Church where there are two locations. Rochelle was with the Colorado Community Church-Aurora campus from it's inception and she was one of the worship leaders. She has spent fourteen years of ministry in Denver, Colorado.
