Edge of the Night
Roger Irwin's love of music spans the major part of his life. In 1980 he formed a rock group called Glasspack, playing in local taverns in Toledo, Ohio, his home town. His music style is greatly influenced by groups such as, Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Allman Brothers, Robin Trower, Guess Who and the Doors. Acoustic and electric guitar along with his musical compositions, weave together a magical blend of sound and harmony. Currently, Roger teaches guitar and theory and is working on a disk of originals still in the production stages. The CD which he just released, Edge of the Night, is a unique improvisation of songwriting with lyrical and vocal assistance from Bill Taylor.
