Rogue State are an original rock four piece band based in Byron Bay, Australia. Their songs are about the human condition... sex, power, want, the environment and other world issues. Rogue State are releasing their first independent CD in 2008 'Moondust and Mayhem' featuring 10 great rock songs about rogue states wrongfully invading Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon... The environment, sex & lust, following the online launch of their haunting middle eastern inspired grunge rock song 'Moondust' (title track of new album). They will be touring the album extensively. Rogue State have over nine hundred international subscribers to their mailing list and have had over 54,000 hits on their web sites. His bands recorded songs have had radio airplay and appeared on compilation albums and live video compilations. 'The Miscreants' recorded the vinyl single 'Fate' with accompanying gothic film clip and the 'Love Junkies' recorded a four-track cassette featuring the haunting 'Eerie Thing'. Andy has appeared and played several songs live on FM radio. Academy award nominee, filmmaker David Bradbury has Rogue State's protest song 'The Whisper' (inspired by his film 'Blowing in the Wind' about depleted uranium weapons) for the closing minutes of his latest documentary about the military exercises at 'Shoalwater Bay', Australia.
