As a special gift to their fans, this year Rogue debuts their first holiday album on December 11, 2007. The new album entitled Unwrapped is the band's third release and complete with soul-infused holiday classics and uplifting original music. Like their previous releases, Unwrapped fulfills fans' expectations with inventive harmonies and melodies that soar. Rogue is a gifted trio of sisters, originally from the Bay Area, now based in Los Angeles. Since their arrival in Southern California, they've recorded three albums as well as produced and starred in an award-winning musical. They've branded a style they call "alternative soul", and have developed a reputation for soul-stirring harmonies and arrangements, rooted in blues, jazz and experimental styles. "Unwrapped is a really special project for us," says Erika RoShawn. "The holidays are all about family, so it was great to go into the studio and record with my sisters many of the songs that we've sung together with our entire family over the years." Rogue delivers superb renditions of holiday favorites like "Carol of the Bells" and "The First Noel", perfectly suited for the band's powerful voices and rich, warm tones. "The Miracle of Christmas (That's Why I Sing)", one of the album's original songs, is a joyful and expressive reminder of the reason for the season. Unwrapped truly shines, making it the perfect addition to brighten any holiday music collection.
