Maybe it's his charismatic nature that enables him to reach so many people from all walks of life. One thing is for sure Ron G. is an undeniable talent that will be delivered from a major platform worldwide. After overcoming many obstacles whether it be poverty growing up, avoiding the snares of the trap, or having to move to ATL and excel in one of the most competitive music markets in the world. Ron G has made is way and more times than not it has been the road less traveled and that has made all the difference. After relocating to ATL, GA in late 2006 he hooked up with Jive Records Recording Artist Huey and his manager Angela Richardson. It was a chance meeting set up by Catch-A-Hat CO-CEO J-Snow that the two began to build a working relationship. Rarely do you find someone in the music industry that will reach out and give you a hand up in the game, this was not the case with Huey and Richardson. They reached out to Ron G and begun recording together which lead to the first commercial release of Ron G.'s single "Yep In My Whip" in February 2007, SHOUT TO LAUDI & DEZ BEATS on the track. Ron G has worked with Platinum Producer Sol Messiah. Armed with a dream, a promotional vehicle, a hot product, and a grind that can only be described as a (take no prisoners) mentality. Ron G has set out all over Georgia, ST. Louis, Arkansas, Tennessee to rally the streets and performing and rocking crowds. His visibility doesn't stop on the stage either. The relationships that he is always continuing to build with DJs, promoters and the like, worked to establish him as a force in clubs and on the radio, ultimately finding success with gems like, "Yep In My Whip", and "Brim's Cocked". Ron G is "A New Bread of Artist", an artist that makes great music for everyone. Ron G has a style that is not defined regionally, but globally. Ron G was asked in a recent interview "how would you describe your talent and your style of music?" Ron replied "I think of myself like a conglomerate. I'm a rock composed of several different elements. I have a lot of bits and pieces to my style." Ron G says: "I'm a humble dude, I don't like calling myself real because the word is so fabricated. I call myself authentic. Money? I never really had a lot of, but I learned how to get a dollar. My passion is with music and my ambition is with the world. People say Ron G what does that mean? I love music. Not just hip hop and R&B but I listen to jazz, reggae, contemporary, and even a little country music. My ambition? Well I love people. I feel like I can relate to everyone. I know a little about everything so I feel like I can talk to anyone. My favorite new saying is: I want forever because tomorrow's not enough.
