Miles to Go: Tribute to Dale Earnhardt
Ronnie Wayne Howell is a Dynamic 41 Year old musician and songwriter From Austintown, Ohio. He plays several instruments including Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Keyboards. He has been playing music and writing original music, since he was 13 years old. His main musical focus now, is on the Blues and Classic Rock and Roll, But he grew up listening to Country music and his playing and signing have a decided country influence. He has played in several bands over the years, and 'Sat In' with more bands than he could care to remember! Right now, He is Focusing on his Solo career, and is assembling a new band to take into the studio, to Record a new batch of his original songs for his upcoming album! Stay tuned for it! Ronnie is also Battling Lymphoma Cancer, and he will have to undergo Radiation Treatments over the next few months. He isn't letting the Cancer slow down his music career! He's been spending most of his time lately trying promote this original song about Racing Legend Dale Earnhardt. The song is called 'Miles to go'(A tribute to Dale Earnhardt)and for this song, He hired Studio session musicians to record the rhythym sections, and he added all the Guitar parts and lead Vocals. Ronnie wrote this song originally in the summer of 2005 after he watched a race, and the winner, A 'Young Gun', admitted he learned how to drive on that particular track from playing a video game!Ronnie said,'Dale Earnhardt didn't learn to drive from a Damn Video Game...He learned in a racecar!' And the song just developed from there! It tells the Story about how all the current drivers have, 'Miles to go' just to get to where Dale Earnhardt had already been in the sport! Earnhardt Fans will appreciate the tribute Ronnie pays their Hero with this song!
