Children of the Mist
Children Of The Mist is a debut solo album but certainly not his first work. Ronnie started his musical career at the age of thirteen with the piano accordion and has since went on to learn the guitar, piano, keyboard, drums, percussion, lead vocals and backing vocals. He was the songwriter and producer of two albums with the Celtic Rock band Cutty Sark. Story telling is at the heart of these songs and a description of each song is given in the inlay card. E.G. Track 4 Bessie Bell & Mary Gray. A sad story of two young girls who were tucked away in the forest around Perth for safety during the black plague. Unfortunatly a young male admirer brought a present of a handkerchief but unknown to him it was contaminated with the plague and both girls died. The song is given from his perspective and the isolated grave stone can still be visited near Pitcairn Green in Perth.
